Educational games on eye health

This project was developed through AIDO with the support of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce through the Avanza Plan, file number PAV-070000-2007-631.

They have collaborated:

• Technological Institute of Optics, Color and Image (AIDO)
• Official College of Opticians and Optometrists of the Valencian Community
• Valencia School of Art and Design (EASD)
• Valencian Institute of Vision IVV

EYE-OK is an info-educational video game about eye health with a triple purpose:

• Entertainment for the user.
• Learning good practices on eye health.
• Test for professionals and educators.

The types of games that EYE-OK includes are divided into:

GAMES: In this section, you'll find Eye Ok games. Here, you can play and try out the games in different age-specific versions (6 to 9 years old; 10 to 12 years old; 13 to 16 years old).

TEST: The tutor can access this area to view the results of the games the children have played. The tutor must first register the children to monitor them.

RESOURCES: In this section, the tutor has access to technical sheets and resources that will help him or her understand and interpret the games children play in order to detect possible visual dysfunctions.
