Professor of Visual Therapy at the University (UDIMA)
Last weekend (February 6 and 7, 2016), Isabel Sánchez taught the "Visual Therapy, Perception and Learning Problems" course, part of the " University Expert in Clinical Optometry" course.
Clinical Optometry Program - 6091201-1S-BU
The purpose of the program is to perfect and acquire clinical procedures and protocols that enhance the optometrist's ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of common ocular and visual conditions. The program is divided into four parts: contact lenses, binocular vision, ocular health, and low vision. Each section is structured around the presentation of teaching materials accessible from the web platform, with updated texts and self-assessment questions in each section. These materials must be completed by the student and submitted regularly throughout the course. This information is complemented in the in-person seminars through the presentation of clinical cases and real images related to the topics covered. Furthermore, the theoretical and practical nature of the sessions ensures the reinforcement of the examination, diagnosis, and management protocols for the visual problems and conditions discussed during the course.
